Spirit Furnaces – Warranty Details

Spirit Oil Models VH, VLR, VLF, VC, VHF

The oil models have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the heat exchanger and Five-year Parts Warranty to the original owner whose name appears on the warranty registration submitted to Thermo Products.  The owner must submit the warranty registration within ninety (90) days of installation to activate warranty coverage.  If the warranty registration is received after the ninety day period, the date of installation will be considered the 90th day after the date the furnace was sold to the contractor.

Spirit Gas Models TG8S, TG9S, TP9C

The TP9C modulating series and the TG9S single stage series come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the heat exchanger and 10-year Parts Warranty (must be registered online within 90 days of installation or the heat exchanger warranty reverts to 20 years and parts warranty reverts to 5 years.

The TG8S single stage series 80% comes with a 20-year Limited Heat Exchanger Warranty and 10-year Parts Warranty (must be registered online within 90 days of installation or the parts warranty reverts to a 5-years and the heat exchanger remains at 20 years).

Some of our products are sold through wholesale distribution.  All warranty claims require the model and serial number of the unit be provided to verify warranty eligibility.  Many parts on our units are common and universal in design such as oil burner parts.  The distributors stock many of these parts that can be used on our units.  They also stock many Thermo Products specific parts as well.  Most distributors will sell and invoice the repair part to the contractor and then process the warranty claim on their behalf.  The selling price of a repair part is often more than the manufacturer’s credit amount.  This difference is the responsibility of the contractor.

All warranty returns and claims must go through an authorized Spirit Furnace contractor. No Warranty claims will be accepted from homeowners. For prompt warranty services, please notify the installer who will submit the warranty claim to Thermo Products, LLC.

For Contractor Purchases made directly with Thermo Products - Online Warranty/Returned Goods Claim Form: If you are in an area where wholesale distribution is available, you must go through the wholesaler for returns.
