Spirit Furnaces – Warranty Details
Spirit Oil Furnaces come with a Limited Lifetime Heat Exchanger Warranty and 10-year parts warranty. The lifetime heat exchanger warranty is extended to the original owner whose name appears on the Warranty Registration to Thermo Products, LLC. For all other owners, the heat exchanger warranty is 20 years. The first 5 years parts warranty is to the current owner. After the first 5 years, the parts warranty is only to the verified original homeowner. Any labor costs involved in furnace diagnosis or the removal and replacement of a defective part are the responsibility of the owner.
*Please consult the warranty certificate that came with your furnace.
Consumer Internet Sales Policy:
Consumers using the internet may encounter a direct-to-homeowner purchasing opportunity for heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC) products. HVAC systems and components are designed to be installed by qualified HVAC technicians. No warranty coverage is offered on any of our products that are purchased directly by consumers unless the products are installed by a contractor adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local codes, policies and licensing requirements. Licensing and permitting requirements: It is common that an HVAC installer must be licensed by the state or municipality in which the HVAC equipment is to be installed. Some jurisdictions may have additional permitting requirements. Consult your local laws and rules to determine the requirements imposed by your jurisdiction.

Some of our products are sold through wholesale distribution. All warranty claims require the model and serial number of the unit be provided to verify warranty eligibility. Many parts on our units are common and universal in design such as oil burner parts. The distributors stock many of these parts that can be used on our units. They also stock many Thermo Products specific parts as well. Most distributors will sell and invoice the repair part to the contractor and then process the warranty claim on their behalf. The selling price of a repair part is often more than the manufacturer’s credit amount. This difference is the responsibility of the contractor.
